![]() Hi! Thank you for dropping by for a visit. I'm "new" to all this, so things are subject to change often, as I learn more. So, bear with me. If you are looking for a friend, it's "in the house", (or, you've come to the right place!) This is a house of many ages and colors, and sorts and styles, Many waves & crashes. It's all acceptable here, as long as it is not "inhumane" or of a "perverted" nature. It's NOT about that. But what I AM about is PEOPLE. All people. If you ARE one, you're invited to hang around, talk, leave me messages, whatever. I am a musical person...a singer, looking to make that my career! I've developed it all my life. In fact, my very first words were the words to "Holy, Holy, Holy", the song that was the weekly procession at church. My mom took me every time there WERE open doors. That's all I heard. I still remember the day. I was just an infant learning to prop myself up against the back of a kitchen chair. And I just decided to sing "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almigh- ty,.... "no big deal". What I didn't realize is that I had never spoken a WORD prior to that! When my mom heard it, she ran thru the house screaming (in excitement I later discoverd). I still remember thinking, "what's the matter? You guys sing it all the time, so I did too. That really WAS what I tought but I couldn't SAY it. But I surely remember. More profoundly to her was that it was in the right key! (I have perfect pitch) As I got older and I read the account in her journal, I realize now how pro- found that was, and that I was born to sing! I've done it ever since. Now, mom was a big MOTOWN FAN, and I learned greatly by listening to all her things. I became fiercely drawn to THE SUPREMES pro. and POST Diana. And that's how I learned to really sing. They introduced me to so many genres of music tastefully, and represedted the highest quality, and that's what I wanted to become. Now, I am an adult, and very much into all styles of music. I am also a pianist, writer, arranger, recording artist, performance coach, artist, actor, etc. My main outlet in the meantime is Karaoke. It continually gives me a chance to try and to learn new things, while also making new friends! I've gotten to travel the country in national contests that I won, and it's been a DREAM! I've even sung in Vegas on a week's gig with MARY WILSON of THE SUPREMES as a background singer. And she DID spotlight me as her "protege".THAT WAS SOOOO COOL! More on that later.. On to the NEXT PAGE PLEASE!!
